One week after Woodfalls Concert Brass’ success at the National Finals in Harrogate, the band held a social event for band members to celebrate the occasion.

The evening included a wonderful buffet spread kindly supplied by our good friends and families, skittles, and the annual band awards.

There were two awards to be won - the Players’ Player of the Year (decided by band ballot) and the Directors Player of the Year (decided by Steve Dunster. In a decision that was in no way rigged, solo cornet Ben Castle was presented with both awards.

Just to prove it was no fluke, Ben then went on to win the skittles. Well done Ben!
