August bank holiday weekend saw the band battling through heavy traffic to reach their concert venues at Lymington and Nomandsland respectively, as tourists flocked to the New Forest to enjoy the last of the summer holidays.

Musical Director Steve Dunster of the WCB has recently completed his challenge to loose some weight and raise funds for the the Bands trip to the National Finals in Harrogate on September 24th.
 
Steve successfully lost a total of 9 pounds and managed to raise £150!!!

WCB supported the Milford On Sea VJ Day celebrations on the 06/08/2005, entertaining crowds with a varied concert programme.
The festival organised by the local division of the Royal British Legion was a great success and featured local businesses, fundraising activities, morris dancing and ferret racing competitions!!
